He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sprung and Ann Sprung; his siblings, Carolynn Hyde and Butch Sprung (Judy); and his father-in-law Harold Dalrymple.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Dalrymple; his son Jesse Dalrymple-Sprung; his sister Melanie Kilar (Ed); his brother-in-law Bill Hyde; his mother-in-law Faye Dalrymple; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Smith (Brad), Marilyn Govier, Susan Parke (John), Cathy Harrison (Eric), Patty Dalrymple, Vicki Dalrymple (Kurt), Rick Dalrymple (Barb) and Larry Dalrymple. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
