He was predeceased by: his parents, John Watson and Jean Watson; his parents-in-law, Bill and Helen Meloche; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Croft, Larry Croft and Bud Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Watson of Goderich; his children, Angela Graham (John) of Goderich and John Watson (Kelly) of St. Catharines; his grandchildren, Aiden, Eilish, Eavlan, Harrison and Lucan; his siblings, Bob Watson (Viv) of Kitchener, Kim Grant (Steve) of British Columbia and Jo-Anne Kelly (Bob) of Kitchener; and his siblings-in-law, Bonita Jones (Bud) of Owen Sound, Bill Meloche (Marlene) of Owen Sound, Tom Meloche, Nick Meloche (Jenny) of Owen Sound, Darcy Meloche (Christy) of Guelph and Robert Meloche (Janet) of Owen Sound. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
