He was predeceased by: his wife Donna; and his siblings, Don, Ray and Doreen. He is survived by: his children, Laurie (Jay) of Nairobi Kenya and Larry (Penny) of Wiarton Ontario; his granddaughters, Holly and Lucy; his sister-in-law Darlene; and his brothers, Terry (Ann) and Wayne (Debbie).
