She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Melissa Knight-Johnson (Mike Johnson) and Kaitlyn Knight-Nottage (Kyah Nottage); her grandsons, Cillian (Johnson), Kouen (Nottage) and Beckett (Johnson); her sister Mary Shea; and her parents, Kathleen and Gerald. She was also cherished by husband and wife; they've been soulmates, best friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Center for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in her memory, a fitting tribute to her lifelong dedication to making the world a better place.
