He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl of Austria and Theresia (Mayr) of Austria; his wife Elfrieda (Rericha); his son John; and his brothers-in-law, Johann Hofbauer (Austria) and Karl Beyerl (Austria).
He is survived by: his children, Karl Sartori (Beth), Gerrard Sartori (Gayle), Bob Sartori (Sarnia), Michele Bouck (Wayne) and Katherine Maxwell (Edwin); his siblings, Heinz Sartori (Herta), Friedrich Sartori (Gertrude) and Maria Hofbauer (Austria); and his sister-in-law Gertrude Beyerl (Austria). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild and by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
