He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Thom and Hazel Thom; and his siblings, Jim, Doug (Millie) and Audrey Rivett (Arnold).
He is survived by: his spouse Leone (Cook); his children, Carolyn Austin (Kevin), Shelley Doherty (Dana) and Jeff Thom (Cathy-Jo); his grandchildren, Corey (Jenn), Dru (Nathan), Joel (Alex), Zach Lauren (Erin), Kyle and Kennedy; and his sister Helen Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Lung Association.
