He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Jessica Burgsma; and his brother John Drost. He is survived by: his spouse Piea Drost; his children, Raymond, Wilma Drost of Queensville, Kim and Hugh Burgsma of Goderich; and his grandchildren, Stacie, Rich Vos, Robin, Michelle Burgsma, Jordan, Danielle Burgsma, Holly and Phil Dalton.
