He was predeceased by: his parents, Freda McGillivray (Ford) and William McGillivray; his former wife Gwen; and his sister-in-law Sylva McGillivray. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his stepchildren, Scott Allen (Cathy) of Scarborough, Terrance Allen (Patti) of Listowel and Sheri Lyn Topham (Mike) of Wingham; and his brothers, Ivan McGillivray of Calgary and Fred McGillivray (Diane) of Winnipeg. He is also survived by 10 step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Huronview Activation Department or Alzheimer Society of Huron County are greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
