He was predeceased by: his spouse Dolores Rau (Knapp); and his brother Louis Rau. He is survived by: his children, Claire Gear (Paul) of Cambridge, Tom (Cindy) of Geneva, Mark (Christine) of Kitchener, Debbie Mahood (David) of Stratford, Stephen, Lucas, Andrew, Caroline, Charlotte, Victoria, Ashley, Katie, Christopher and Danielle; his great grandchildren, Abigail and Aiden; and his siblings, John Paul Rau and Rose Marie Rau.
