He was predeceased by: his wife Annette (Dickson); his parents, Carman and Dorothy; and his siblings, Harry Kerr, Betty Culbert, Don Dickson, Mel Dickson, Helen Dickson, Carl Longman and Kathleen Longman.

He is survived by: his significant other Donna; his children, Paul (Cindy), Calvin (Angela), Mike (Jodie) and Melissa (Kyle); his siblings, Ron Kerr (Susan), Arnold Kerr (Noreen), Jane Kerr and Bruce Culbert; his grandchildren, Colton (Emily), Kelsey, Lorren, Alaina, Myranda (Marek), Kalin, Quaid, Samantha, Sara, Justin, Emily, Kasey and Lizzie; and his great grandchild Lena. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
