With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Bate (Goderich, Ontario), who passed away on January 8, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Dorothy Bate; and his siblings, Margaret Bate and Donald Bate. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Bate (Sylvia Bate) of Goderich, Karen Goode (Raymond Goode) of Goderich and Kevin Bate (Joanne Bate) of Kitchener; his grandchildren, Courtney Henry, Stewart Bate, Jennifer Jackson (Adam Jackson), Jacob Goode (Natasha Wilmot), Amanda Neill (Phil Neill), Sheena Goode, Tori Goode, Christopher Parks and Brandon Murrin (Amy Murrin); his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Gryffin, Hope, Israel, Serenity, Scarlet, Kylie, Justin, Marcus, Tosha, Bastian, Joshua, Michael and Athena; and his close friend Mel Farnsworth. He is also survived by extended family, countless friends.
