Eleanor Jean Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2023, at the age of 87, Eleanor Jean Smith of Goderich, Ontario, born in Regina, Saskatchewan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Brodrick and Carlotta Brodrick (Wheatley); and her brother Alan. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Edgar Smith; her children, Doug Scott (Anna) and Liz Scott (Rich Fletcher); her grandchildren, Matthew (Katherine), Carly Scott (Derek Dokis), Joshua, Cameron (Marta Pawlewicz) and Mackenzie Fletcher; her stepchildren, Kimberley (Rick Larin), Stephen David (Karen), Ann (Paul Harrop) and Greg (Cindy Windsor); her siblings-in-law, Valerie Brodrick and Ron Smith (Laurene); her cousin Sandy (David); her former husband Jim Scott; and her siblings-in-law, Gordon Smith (Bernice) and Nancy Smith. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

Donations in Eleanor's memory would be appreciated to St. George's Anglican Church in Goderich for the Restoration Fund for the Stained Glass Windows, or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
