She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Nobes; her siblings, James Pitblado, David Pitblado, Wilma Yake and Kay MacIntosh; and her brothers-in-law, Clifford Bennett and Aubrey Harvey.

She is survived by: her children, Carolyne Cowan (Jim) and Lester Nobes; her grandchildren, Cindy Carlsen (D'Arcy) and Melissa Cowan (Owen Parkhill); and her sisters, Ada Harvey, Marion Patterson and Margaret Bennett. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
