He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brown and Phyllis Brown; his siblings, Raymond and Gwendoline Brown; and his brothers-in-law, John Mann and Dave Staddon.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley; his sons, Edward and Richard Brown (Carolyn); and his sisters, Dorothy Mann, Eileen Staddon and Helen Ellison (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
