He was predeceased by: his daughter Colleen (Al Edwards); his sister Elaine Craig; his parents, Jack Scruton and Marg Scruton; and his parents-in-law, Tom and Genevieve Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Scruton; his son John (Megan Scruton); his grandchildren, Laurissa (Adam), Sarah, Ivy and Truman; and his siblings, Pat (George Sills), Connie (Larry Mellen), Nancy (Keith Allen) and Gloria (Wayne Jackson). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and good friends.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital Foundation - Dialysis Unit or the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
