Cornelia Van Diepen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cornelia Van Diepen (Goderich, Ontario), who passed away on December 7, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arie Diepen and Sybilla Van Diepen; her children, Tammy Legris of Goderich and Michael Legris of Goderich; her siblings, Mary, Bill Mole of Dungannon, Andy, Karen Van Diepen of London, Anne and Norm Kennedy of Goderich; her nieces and nephews, Julie, Barbara, Dana, Kim, Ryan, David and Nicole; her sister Vera Smith; her niece Tannis Smith; and her nephew Robert Kennedy. She was also cherished by cousins, close friends.

Prior to the pandemic, Nellie was greatly involved with attending and facilitating a number of friendship/support groups under the auspices of the CMHA.
