He was predeceased by: his child Laurie. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Allan (Lin), Tracie (John) and Tannis (Shawn); his grandchildren, Jen (Matthew), Rob (Amy), Aly (Matthew), Mollie (Ryan), Kiah (Peter), Dan (Mariko), Natasha, Hannah (Craig), Clara (Junaid) and Isaac; his great grandchildren, Will, Lumi, Jason and Ossian; his siblings, Anna, Avu, Leonard and Raymond; his sister-in-law Beth (Steve); and also, Bill and John.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Huron Hospice Bender House would be appreciated by the family.
