With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Isabel Sturdy (Goderich, Ontario), who passed away on April 8, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Chester Sturdy; her parents, John Kernighan and Gertrude Kernighan; her brothers, Russel Kernighan and Donald Kernighan; and her siblings-in-law, Audrey Kernighan, Relda Robinson and Doug Robinson.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Sturdy (Mary), John Sturdy (Cathie) and Mary Ellen Docking (Bill); her grandchildren, Travis Sturdy, Jesse Sturdy (Vanessa), Luke Sturdy (Bree), Tara Williamson (Lee), Angela Sturdy-Cantelon (Scott), Rob Docking (Brittany), Dan Docking (Jena) and Craig Docking (Josie); and her sister-in-law Marion Kernighan. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
