He was predeceased by: his siblings, Marian, Audrey, Eugene, Ray, Leroy and Alvin Hathaway.
He is survived by: his significant other Josephine Kamyk; his daughter Margaret-Ann Giberson (Ken); his grandchildren, Alex Giberson, Samuel Giberson (Katherine) and Megan Giberson (Ben); his sisters, Lois Steen and Sharon Babinsky; and his sister-in-law Fay Hathaway.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Van Heck Funeral Home (172 Symes St, Glencoe, ON N0L1M0). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
