She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Dick" Thompkins; and her son Mark Thompkins. She is survived by: her children, Julie Dedels (Jim), Richard Wm and Nancy Teather (Ron); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Nicole (Shane), Kyle (Miranda) and Trevor (Sara); her great grandchildren, Lauren, Rebecca, Payton, Kendra, Parker, Dallas and Boone; and her sister-in-law Alberta.
