She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Nicole; her brother Roger Van Goethem (Theresa); and her brother-in-law Frank DePelsmaeker (Donna). She is survived by: her husband Joseph DePelsmaeker; her children, Joanne Mitchell (Gord) of Glencoe, Robert DePelsmaeker (Pam) of Bothwell, Dianne Zemnicky (Peter) of Strathroy, Brenda Dunlop (Kirk) of Bothwell and Brent DePelsmaeker (Sherri) of Glencoe; her grandchildren, Caralee (Will), Kyle (Erika), Cody (Lindsay), Justin (Amy), Alicia (Peter), Jennifer (Jon), Kristen, Aaron (Keeley), Amanda (Jeremy), Aimee, Andrew, Brianna (Brendan) and Shane; and her siblings-in-law, Richard and Mary Lou DePelsmaeker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
