He was predeceased by: his spouse Eileen Gibson; his child Wendy Brooks (Ron); his siblings, Dorthea and Edgar; and his stepchild Ted Trethewey (Yvonne).
He is survived by: his children, Rick Gibson (Velora), Bob Gibson (Pat), Mike Gibson (Cyndy) and Dave Gibson; his stepchildren, Linda Gage (Don) and Kathy Blackmore (Vance); and also Arlie Gibson (Trethewey).
