He was predeceased by: his brothers, Anton (Will), Franz and Pierre. He is survived by: his wife Anne Kavelaars (Witlox); his children, Marycatharine Kusch (Kevin), Annette Kavelaars-Burrows (Gary Burrows), JJ Kavelaars (Joanna Rippin), Ingrid Kavelaars (Dallas Eakins) and Monique Kavelaars (Andreas Karlson); his grandchildren, Genna, Abbi, William, Hayden, Tyse, Emrik, RuthAnne, Catherine, Maddox, Emerson, Sam and Cameron; his great grandchildren, Link and Evan; his brother Br. Wim; and his sister-in-law Marianne.
