He was predeceased by: his parent Omer Cartier; and his mother-in-law Loretta Lozon (Basil Walker). He is survived by: his parent Luella Cartier; his spouse Eileen Cartier; his children, Denise Corneil (Bev), Luc, Mike (Joseph) and Jackie Cartier; his grandchildren, Jeremy Corneil (Laura), Amy Henton (Andy) and Tia Lynn Cartier; and his great grandchildren, Claire, Carter Henton and Ben Cartier.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Charles Church (Building Fund).
