He is survived by: his wife Colette Ménard; his children, Nicole and Joel; his grandchildren, Stéphanie and Vincent Leroux; his siblings, Thérèse (late Jean-Paul Boyer) and Ernest Sauvé (late Debbie); and his sister-in-law Jocelyne. He is also survived by his family and many nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Diabetes Association, would be appreciated by the family.
