He was predeceased by: his spouse Ida Bériault; his siblings, Edward, Marie-Rose and Edna; and his parents, Sylva Bériault and Aldena Bériault.

He is survived by: his children, Gérard Bériault (Colette) of Alexandria and Richard Bériault (Madeleine) of Alexandria; his grandchildren, Nathalie, Jean (Tammy), Rémi and Patrick; and his siblings, Lionel, Florian, Martin, Simone, Rita, Florence, Yvonne and Martina.
