He was predeceased by: his son Johannes "Hans" Boekhoff (Margaret); his sibling Aeisso; and his parents, Upke Heiko and Anna Boekhoff. He is survived by: his wife Anneliese Boekhoff; his children, Heiko Boekhoff (Linda) and Anne MacLaurin (Ian); his grandchildren, Kevin (Liane), Michael (Melanie), Jessica, Iain, Cameron (Lauren), Andrew and Stephen; his great grandchildren, William, Philippa, Axel, Eleanor and Timothy; and his siblings, Christine Bauer (Hans-Werner) and Margarethe Wessels (late Neso).
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
