He was predeceased by: his child Kelly Soumis; and his parents, Jean-Paul Soumis and Aline Soumis. He is survived by: his spouse Patience Soumis; his son Jonathan Soumis; his sibling Carmen; and his siblings-in-law, Liette Long, Colin Wetmore (Nicole) and Robin Smith (Ian). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
