He was predeceased by: his parents, Amédé Lafontaine (Endy) and Blanche Lafontaine (Gauthier); his brothers, Gérrard, Silvio, Harvey, Gabriel and Amédé; his parents-in-law, Thérése and Henri St-Pierre; and his brother-in-law Brian Antonson.
He is survived by: his wife Nicole; his children, Tammy Poulin (Serge) of Winnipeg, MB, Alana Hunt (Thomas) of Geraldton, ON, Christopher and Andrew Lafontaine of Illinois, USA.; his grandchildren, Daniel Poulin, Erik Poulin, Erika Hunt (Nicholas) and Emily Hunt; his great grandchild Dante Falcetta; his sister Raymonde Turcotte (André) of Thunder Bay, ON; his sister-in-law Shirley Lafontaine of Thunder Bay, ON; his sister Louise; and his siblings-in-law, Dave Ennis of Spruce Grove, AB and Suzie St-Pierre (Bertrand Comeau) of Stettler, AB.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Raymond's memory to the Ontario Lung Association or Geraldton District Hospital.
