He is survived by: his wife Aune Ave; his sister Helen Lapenskie; his children, Linda Godeski and Raymond; his daughter-in-law Donna; his grandchildren, Jason Pontynen, Jeremy Pontynen, Laura Donohue (Godeski) and Michael Godeski; and also Windemere Ave.
Eero had wanted to remain in his home until his death, but sadly, Alzheimer's robbed him of that wish.
