Basil Lemieux Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2020, at the age of 79, Basil Lemieux of Geraldton, Ontario passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Basil Lemieux to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis and Inez (Dumas); his siblings, Floyd, Wilbert, Fred, Rita McDougall and Cecile Gillespie; and his siblings-in-law, Boris Gillespie, Jerry Sullivan, Don McDougall, Lloyd Enberg and Rita Lemieux.
He is survived by: his wife Pam; his daughter Kathleen (Jon Schram); his grandsons, Ryan and Kyle of Nakina, ON; his daughter Jennifer (Jeff Ainscough) of Innisfil, ON.; his siblings, Gilles (Maxine), Gerry (Linda), Dorothy Sullivan, Mona (Nino Paulini) and Doreen Enberg; and his sisters-in-law, Marie Lemieux and Lucille Lemieux. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, or charitable donations, he would have encouraged us all to live every day to its fullest; giving back to others, contributing something to the community, helping someone in need, and showing gratitude towards others. If a monetary donation is your preference, contributions can be made to the Geraldton District Hospital or St. John the Baptist Church in Longlac.
