He is survived by: his husband Eileen; his children, Karen Stadnyk (Andy) of Nova Scotia, Steve Bashak (Sheree) of Brampton, Colleen Darling (Paul) of Georgetown, Leslie Schwarzl (Sandy Brown) of Orangeville and Sue Brandt (Scott) of Georgetown; his great grandchildren, Austin and Hannah; and his parents, Nicholas Bashak and Nellie Bashak.
