He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reverend Stephen and Lillian Tilley (Beecroft); his wife Lynda Palmer of Georgetown; his sons, Aaron (Melissa) and Amos (Danielle); his grandsons, Elkan, Jeriah and Armour; and his children, Coach, Bushwacker and Gramps.

He surrendered his rebel heart to God; his faith was his foundation.

Before we were halfway to our destiny the bouncing melon was sliced by the carrier we placed it in. When we abandoned it on the side of the road, the realization there was no lunch sank in.
