We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2023, at the age of 97, Sophie Isabell Matheson (Georgetown, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Allan Matheson; and her siblings, Bert Parker (late Edith), Robert Parker (late Chris), Mitchel (late Claudette), Eileen Burry (late Harry) and Emily Allen (late Ellis).

She is survived by: her children, Darlene Jones (Jim), Brenda Washburn (Roland), Ronald Matheson (Joan), Donald Matheson and Randal Matheson (Hazel); her grandchildren, Mitzi Sorokolit (Jeff), Sam Vaughan (Lori), Jeff Jones (Phyllis), Erin Dobbins (Scott), Philip Matheson (Lisa), Allan Matheson (Jennifer), Marnie Craig (Darren), Craig Matheson (Beverly), David Matheson (Jeannine) and Danny Matheson (Berkley); and her brother Grant Parker (Grace). She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
