She was predeceased by: her husband Nelson Turriff; her son Bobby; and her brothers, Harold, Samuel and John.
She is survived by: her children, Heather, Brenda (Martin), Terri-Lee, Robin (James), Cory, Bruce and Glenn. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Donations to the Upper Credit Humane Society, or the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada would be appreciated.
