He was predeceased by: his son Rob; and his siblings, Edith and Dalton. He is survived by: his wife Helen; his daughter Lorraine; his daughter-in-law Nelda (Mark); his grandchildren, Christine (Johnny), Christopher (Stephanie), Ashley, Neil (Samantha) and Brittney; his great grandchildren, Makayla, Kaitlyn, Jenna May, Connor, Adelynn, Shaun, Abby, McKenzie and Bentley; and his siblings, Audrey, Herbert, Phillip (Nancy) and Harold. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society.
