He was predeceased by: his siblings, Elaine and Christopher; and his brother-in-law Ivan Collison. He is survived by: his spouse Merle; his children, Ashley Waerea (Tere) and Corey (Victoria); his grandchildren, Savannah and Indigo; his stepsiblings, Ken Dolliver (Lynn), Dan Dolliver (Christine), Carol Collison and Rob Dolliver; and his siblings-in-law, John Hughes (Robin), Anne Middleton (Bob) and Brent Hughes (Laura). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
