He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Marie Forbes; his parents, John Forbes and Dorothy Forbes; and his siblings, Heidi, Paul and Hughie.
He is survived by: his child P. J. Forbes (Terri, family: David Forbes, Doug Forbes); and his siblings, Ruthie (Jerry), Nancy and David (Marla).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in memory of Peter to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides or to the Hamilton General Hospital ICU, where Peter received such compassionate care.
