He was predeceased by: his mother Marjorie; and his sister Rhonda (Samuel). He is survived by: his stepsons, Stephen (Sonia) and Kevin (Lisa); his brother Larry Griffin (Madeleine); and his father Ross. He is also survived by his extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Norm's name to Support Veterans through the Royal Canadian Legion poppy campaign.
