She was predeceased by: her husband John Alisdair MacKinnon; her son David; and her brother James. She is survived by: her children, Gloria (Francis), Charles (Brenda), Gay (Paul), John (June), Robin (Carol Anne), Byron (Shelley), Brenton (Mary) and Frances (Marc); her grandchildren, Heather, Jason, Matthew, Christopher, Josie, Aimee, Corey, Melanie, Jennifer, Michael, Nicholas, Adam, Noah, Jared, Caelan, Keagan, Britney, Caden and Adalyn; her siblings, Catherine and Harold; her cousin Eleanor Holmes; and her friend Jan Gourlay.
Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Monday from 11 a. m. - 1 p. m. Please call the funeral home to register for visitation by 4 p. m. on Saturday January 2, 2021 (Covid-19 regulations permit only 10 people to be in the funeral home for each ½ hour visitation time slot beginning at 11 a. m.).
