He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dave Somers and Eileen Somers; his spouse Caroll; his son Scott; his grandchildren, Olivia and Jackson; and his siblings, Neil, Laurie, Anne, Keith, Lynda, Leona, Larry and Gerry.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (11582 Trafalgar Rd, Georgetown, ON L7G4Y5). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Cross Parish (14400 Argyll Rd, Georgetown, ON L7G0B9).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society in John's memory.
