He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Schuringa; his children, Cindy (Paul Little), Shaunna (Dan McKenzie) and Darren (Sasha Schuringa); his grandchildren, Ashley (Matt DeJager), Blake (Lora Remacka), Candice (Cameron Cherry), Ethan Leal, Ashton Leal, Sarah Schuringa, Grace Schuringa and James Schuringa; his great grandchildren, Holden DeJager, Callum DeJager, Roen Leal and Dani Cherry; his sisters, Trudy Uittenbosch (Hans) and Rita Knibbe; and his sister-in-law Anne Schuringa.
