He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Matheison; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his siblings, Marjorie Smith (Tony) of Winnipeg, John (Beatrice) of Picton, Marie Pratt (Bill) of Guelph and Albert of Cranbrook, B. C; his stepdaughter Brenda Riley; his stepgrandson Jacob of Hamilton; and his nieces and nephews, Jimmie, Jason and Christopher.
