It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeannette McAlpine of Georgetown, Ontario, who passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her great-grandparent Jen (Bodhi). She is survived by: her children, Shawn Vesterback (Rick), Shannon McLaughlin (Ian) and Marla McAlpine (Rob Allen); and her grandchildren, Jen, Anja, Liam (Kaitie), Maddie (Greg), Brennan, Tanner and Sinclair (Liam). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer's Society, Canadian Cancer Society or The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

“So sad to have lost my dear friend Jenny, but she spent two weeks with me in PEI I2019 and at that time she was very wel aware of her condition, we spent many hours travelling every day, looking at pictures and she met a lot of my friends who thought she was wonderful and made her feel so welcome.
