He is survived by: his wife Anne Beamish; his children, Rob (Diane) and Tracey (Rob Stairs); his grandchildren, Bradley Quinton, Brittany Barrett (Ryan), Nicole Stairs (Brett Waterman) and Amber Stairs (Marshall Cormier); his great grandchildren, Laci, Leah Waterman and Hayden Barrett; and his sister Glenda (Bert Benton). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

“Anne and family, please accept our deepest sympathy to all of you at this difficult time with Jack's passing. Had not seen you since Bert's and Glenda's 50th wedding anniversary. Both of you looked great at that time and trust that all was well until that fall earlier this spring. One never knows what lies ahead. In a moment, lives can change, not always for the better.
