With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Homer Clarence Stennett (Georgetown, Ontario), born in Oakville, Ontario, who passed away on January 2, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Hilda Jane Stennett; his wife Barbara "Joan" Chaplin; and his siblings, Bert (late Lois), James (late Alma), Bill (Pauline Handy) and Anne Doughty.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie Walker (Peter) and Alan Stennett (Nicole); his grandchildren, Danielle (Steve), Ryan (Stephanie), Lindsay (Cam), Eric (Alyssa) and Ashley; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Olivia and Kira; his sisters, Florence Bird (late Allan) and Barbara Strain (late Jim Donaldson); his sisters-in-law, Helen Mossop (late Dan), Doris Doyle (late Clare) and Eleanor Burke (Kevin); his godchildren, Deb Bird, Gord Burke and Leanne Wight; and his cousin Gwen Davis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
PER ARDUA AD ASTRA Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life / internment to follow once Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
