We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2019, at the age of 94, Hiltje Vandermeer (Georgetown, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Siebe Alkema and Dirkje Alkema (VanderGalien); her children, Klaas, Ruth, Siebe, Ivy, Dorothy, Harry VanSpronsen, Sye, Elly, Janet, Mike Hunnersen and Sandra; and her husband Jacob. She was also cherished by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

To honour Hilly's memory, donations to Halton Hills Christian School or to Grace Manor would be greatly appreciated. "In my Father's house are many mansions. I am going there to prepare a place for you…" John 14:2, 3.
