He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Andres and Ella Andres (Funk); his siblings, Edward, Benjamin, Esther and Alice; and his children-in-law, Kevin Cooper and Holly Andres (Hunsberger).

He is survived by: his wife Beryl; his children, Debbie Partridge (Wayne), Pamela Cooper, John Andres and Andrea Elsasser (Ian); his grandchildren, Kyle, Emily, Kathyrn, William, Nicholas, Benjamin and Nathanael; and his siblings, Martha Williams, Elwin Andres (Phylis), Don Andres (Debbie), Helen Bourque (Claude), Linda Spence (Gary) and Evelyn Leach (Ian). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
