He was predeceased by: his wife Maureen Bowes; his close friend Joan Wren; and his son Philip. He is survived by: his children, Jim (Barbara), Dan and Julie Gillett (Don); his grandchildren, Ryan, Jeff, Ashley, Justin, Julia, Alicia and Brandon; and his great grandchildren, Zachary, Leah, Charles and Ella.

Due to covid restrictions a private family service will be webcasted at 1 p. m.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation, Knights of Columbus or charity of your choice.
