She was predeceased by: her husband Terrance McGowan; and her sisters, Ruth, Grace and Isla Dafoe. She is survived by: her siblings, Shirley Adam and Bob Dafoe; her children, Susan (André), Maureen, Catherine and Tim (Kate); and her grandchildren, Catherine, Felix, Duncan and Callum.

“To all the family of Eunice, Sincere condolences on the death of your Mother, Eunice. I got to know Eunice at Book Club at The Sands, She was a sweet, strong, lovely woman who was so wise and so attuned to the world around her that I was in awe of her. She had a wonderful sense of humour which fitted right in with the group. Even though her health had been declining, she kept trying to stay as active as possible. I will miss her and her wise counsel. Shiela Watson White”
